About Raymond

Raymond entered the home construction and real estate industry in 2002, switching from a career in land management. He became interested in real estate as he found that he enjoyed helping people with their properties. Raymond’s interest in real estate and commitment to his clients has only grown since then.

In 2005, Raymond obtained his real estate license and served as an agent with two other real estate companies. Then, in 2010, he made the decision to continue growing and started his own brokerage and built the company into a multi-million-dollar producing business. Raymond was named the 2016 Realtor of the Year by the Lakes Country Association of Realtors.

On January 1, 2021, Raymond’s XTP Lakes Team joined with eXp Realty, continuing to pursue the best practices and tools for home buyers and sellers. As a part of eXp Realty, Raymond explained that XTP Lakes Team can now offer even better marketing campaigns; as a result, now putting sellers’ properties in front of even more prospective buyers.

Raymond describes himself as an experienced real estate agent who has advanced education and experience with home construction, land management, and shoreline rules and regulations, along with an environmental background understanding rural septic systems and wells. This unique combination of real-world application and knowledge has led Raymond to become one of the most diverse and educated Realtors in the Detroit Lakes and Hawley area.

“I am not only a licensed realtor but also a licensed contractor and certified environmental specialist with the State of Minnesota,” Raymond explained. “I give 100% effort and commitment to my clients to ensure they are taken care of whether buying, selling, building, or remodeling the biggest investments of their lives.”

Raymond brings veteran experience in the Minnesota Lakes Country market as a seller’s agent who can ensure his clients are not losing potential funds by leaving money on the table. He wants to bring the best possible return for each seller’s property.

As a buyer’s agent, Raymond brings years of expertise in negotiations to provide clients with the best representation possible to close the deal on their home of choice. His knowledge as a licensed contractor also helps to ensure homebuyers are getting a good home for a great price.
