About Rebecca
Rebecca's Real Estate Journey: From Blueprint to Backyard
Your Workhorse Realtor® | FlexSure Realty | Alachua / High Springs / Gainesville Metro Areas and Beyond
My path to real estate wasn't typical, but that's exactly what makes me different.
• Where It All Began
Picture this: It's 1990, and I'm hunched over a drafting table in a bustling print shop, using mathematical precision to align type by hand – no computers, no shortcuts, just pure skill and an eye for detail. As a professional typesetter, I learned that the smallest details matter. That foundation of precision? It's served me well through every career twist that followed.
From those early days in graphic design at Santa Fe College, my career took me through the technical world of land surveying, where I translated complex property boundaries into clear, accurate drawings. I spent years as an engineering technician, solving problems and working with blueprints that would later become the homes and communities I now help people buy and sell.
• The Real Estate Revelation
By 2005, I found myself drawn into the world of real estate development and construction. Working as an assistant sales manager at a local construction company, I watched homes rise from empty lots and saw families' dreams take shape. I worked behind the scenes with buyers' agents and their brokers, learning the business from every angle – the technical side, the people side, and everything in between.
That's when it hit me: all these experiences weren't separate chapters in my career – they were preparation for something bigger.
• Bringing It All Together
Since being licensed as a Broker in 2015, I've been combining decades of diverse experience into one mission: helping people navigate the most important transactions of their lives. Whether you're searching for your first modest home or your dream mansion, a peaceful horse property or a coastal retreat, I bring something unique to the table.
My surveying background means I can spot potential boundary issues before they become problems. My construction experience helps me identify quality craftsmanship – or red flags – that others might miss. My graphic design skills mean your home gets marketing materials that actually stand out in today's crowded market as part of my comprehensive marketing strategy.
• More Than Just a Transaction
Since 2005, working in real estate markets from Gainesville to St. Augustine, I've learned that buying or selling a home isn't just about square footage and price points. It's about understanding your story – where you've been, where you're going, and what "home" means to you.
Some of my clients are young families outgrowing their starter homes. Others are empty nesters ready to downsize. I've helped horse enthusiasts find and sell properties with perfect pastures and city dwellers discover the peace of country living. Each story is different, but they all matter.
• Let's Talk Horses and Hogs
TB, QH, WB, Shovelheads – yes, I ride both! Whether you're passionate about horses, or you prefer the open road on your Harley, I understand the lifestyle that comes with your interests. Horse properties need proper fencing, water access, and pasture management. Motorcycle enthusiasts need secure garages and workshop space. I get it because I live it.
• Let's Write Your Next Chapter
Whether you're buying your first home or your forever home, selling a property that's been in your family for generations, or investing in your future, I'm here to make sure your real estate story has a happy ending.
