In addition to helping folks buy, sell or invest in property, I specialize in the downsizing of both real and personal property. I work with individuals who are interested in relocating from their current property to their vacation dream home, a single-story home with no steps or barriers, into a home with live in care giver potential, or even into a long term or congregate care setting.
Moving after many years in the same home can be a heavy lift, often overwhelming for many people and/or their children, and that’s where my experience with personal property, real property, the probate system, and the long-term care system come into play. In addition to helping someone sell their home and buy their next (or entirely separate from any real estate transaction) I can provide the following services:
•Consultation, planning, resources, and/or hands on assistance with selling, distributing, donating, recycling or disposing of personal property. The extent of my involvement with decluttering, organizing and downsizing personal property is entirely up to the individual with whom I’m working. *
•Consultation, resources, and navigation of the long-term care system, including in-home care. As needed, I can help people read and understand licensing and abuse investigation information available to the public to assist them in making decisions about a potential residence. I am not a referral agent but can certainly advise consumers as to the questions they should be asking a referral agency prior to working with one. *
