I have been a REALTOR since February, 2007. Beginning my real estate career at the beginning of the market decline, I specialized in working with real estate investors. I found distressed/foreclosed residential properties for my clients, negotiated with banks or HUD on their behalf, utilized my resources within the community to find them the right investment lenders and design contractors, relisted the home for either sale or lease (and in some cases, both!) and found my investors the perfect buyer for their flip or perfect tenant through my intensive background checks. As the market improved, I expanded my business to working with first-time and repeat home buyers in residential resales and new homes construction. I have also worked with commercial and international transactions, although residential real estate is my niche. Always seeking to grow and challenge myself, I am now prospecting the luxury home market. My services now include a 35-point checklist for my sellers, as well as home-staging. In my past life, before I became a Realtor, I taught 1st , 2nd and 4th grades in Texas and North Carolina. This experience has developed personal and professional traits that have been a big help as I transferred my career to one as a real estate agent. Some of those traits are patience, attention to details, efficiency, organized, problem-solving, mediation, consistent communication, and persistence in seeking win-win scenarios. As a former elementary school teacher, I seek to educate clients on the ins and outs of buying, selling, building, and investing in real estate.
