My husband and I bought our first home together in May of 2014. We did what I now know is the *worst* thing you can do when buying a home - clicking the ‘Contact an Agent’ button on Zillow. We got assigned a Realtor who ultimately sold us the home but it was a very rocky road. I felt uninformed at every point of the process which is not how you should feel when purchasing your very first home! I felt like we were just another number to her.

Shortly after buying our home, I took a part-time job at a local real estate brokerage as an administrative assistant. I needed a flexible job to get me by while pursuing my Bachelor’s in Business Administration at UW-Oshkosh. Little did I know, my whole life would change by taking that job.

I quickly learned the behind-the-scenes of what Realtors actually do and woah! - I fell in love. I saw first-hand how every Realtor is different and runs their business differently, too. I also kept thinking that I wish I had a better, more informed process just one month sooner when buying our home. I thought to myself, “I have friends and family that I could help with their real estate needs” and I haven’t looked back since. I became licensed in January of 2015 and to date, I have sold over 30 million dollars in real estate, helping over 190 clients.
