Rich Laporte

Rich is a seasoned, award-winning Realtor in the Portage/Kalamazoo area who's built a strong reputaton for trust, local market knowlege, and personalized service. Clients appreciate that he doesn't just hustle for transations - he guides people, educates them, and can turn a stressful process into a more comfortable, even friendly, experince. Rich served on many committes at the Board of Realtors, as well as serving on the Board of Directors from 2019-2022. He is a former instructor at the Michigan Real Estate Academy and has been nominated for Realtor of the Year many times.
He volunteers at local schools and spent 13 years at Parchment High School as an assistant coach on the varsity baseball team. In 2021, Rich was named Michigan High School Coaches Association "Assistant Coach of the Year" for the State of Michigan. In his spare time, he spends time with his family, his dog Lou, and having a good time with friends. He loves Bourbon and a good hand-rolled cigar.
