Rich Valadez

As a REALTOR®, my job is to listen to my clients to understand their needs, challenges, and goals. Real estate transactions can be complex, fast-moving, and ever-changing. I’ve called San Antonio home for the past 20 years and have a deep understanding of this vibrant and growing market. As your advocate and trusted advisor, I am dedicated to leveraging my knowledge, skills, and expertise to help you achieve your real estate goals.

I’m with JB Goodwin because our mission is simple, “Help People.” Our first priority is helping people and providing the best customer service possible to our clients.

Over the past decade, my wife and I have built an income-producing real estate portfolio through buying and rehabbing properties. Our portfolio includes single-family rental homes, short-term rentals, and multifamily apartments. We also personally manage our properties. I earned the Housing Choice Voucher Specialist for REALTORS® (HCVS) Certification in 2019 to better serve my tenants and my community.

Prior to Real Estate, I had the honor of joining a home-grown San Antonio technology start-up called Rackspace. At Rackspace, I was able to hone and practice my passion for helping others. Over my 11-year tenure, I worked in all areas of the business including Sales, Support, Operations, Knowledge Management, and HR. My last assignment at Rackspace gave me the amazing opportunity to serve as the Senior Director of Talent, leading teams across the world focused on Talent Development, Acquisition, Branding, and Marketing.

I am a proud Roadrunner and Rattler Alum. I received my bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Texas at San Antonio and my MBA from St. Mary’s University.

I met my amazing wife in San Antonio and was lucky enough to marry her in 2007. We have two strong, bright, and adventurous daughters who also love real estate. When I’m not helping people with their real estate needs, you can find me playing golf, hiking with my family and dog, doing CrossFit, playing bass guitar, riding my motorcycle, taking photos, or traveling the world.
