About Richard

Richard Baumel’s career began as a licensed realtor while in college. He then tried his hand in a few other professions but came right back to his original love of real estate. It feels so good to be back doing what he loves!

At an early age, Richard was fascinated with real estate - the architecture, feelings of different neighborhoods and interior design. Spending many weekend mornings at tag sales in the Five Towns, with his mother, Richard was exposed to many properties and found himself more interested in the homes than the items for sale.

Richard has lived in many local areas - Far Rockaway, Atlantic Beach, Long Beach, Lynbrook, Cedarhurst, Manhattan and Woodmere - since he was a little boy. Richard lives with his wife and son in Woodmere. When he is not working, he enjoys time on his boat fishing the local waters and tending to his garden.
