My family and I just recently moved back to Northern Virginia. Although Richard is licensed in Maryland and therefore unable to directly participate in the contracting of our home, he went above and beyond in assiting us in the relocation process. Richard was always availble for consultation to provide up to date listings of rental properties and lent his expertise in negotiation advice and contract review of our home. It was this personal touch from Richard that help to ease any anxiety I had transitioning our family to a new environment. Having an agent like Richard made it a seemless transition and a true welcoming back home. I will be sure to call on him for our future endeavors as we seek to plant roots here in the DC area.

We have just went thru a 'short sale' and could not be happier. Richard and his associate, Susan Taylor, really know what they are doing. Once we listed our property as a 'short sale', they took over the process, staying on top of things with the bank. They kept us informed on everything. They dealt with the bank the whole way. We had just two calls from the bank. they handled the rest. We met Richard by calling him on one of his 'for sale' signs. He responded right away. He showed us several properties and even said he would help in installing a drain pipe on one of the properties. (Now how many realtors would do that ?) The 1.75% Seller's Agent fee was the first thing that attracted me to the Richard Curtis Real Estate Company. The excellent service went well beyond this, however. Richard and his company were extremely responsive, often replying to email or voice mail messages within two hours and never later than the start of the next business day. He and his staff are knowledgeable on every subject, display the highest level of professionalism, and work with YOU the client to meet YOUR needs based on the information he can provide you. Outstanding realtor! He listens even when you aren't talking and shows you only what you want to see! Rich is not interested in finding you a house to buy, he wants to find you your house. I have known Richard for approximately four years, but on a professional level for one year. I listed my home in Severna Park with Rich and I knew right away that he was someone I could work with. My home has sold and Rich was extremely helpful and patient throughout, although working with a divorcing couple is never easy. I find Richard to be a very knowledgeable, personable and committed individual. He is easy to talk to, deal with, readily available and flexible.
