We have dealt with a number of Brokers along the way and were always very pleased on how responsive Rick's team was to our questions and interactions when we were dealing with various issues. Rick recently sold our house in West Newbury. He did an amazing job marketing the house. His timing on when to put the house on the market was impeccable (it sold very quickly).The pictures of the house which were taken were very well done. Finally, he helped us through the negotiation, notably when we had to deal with a fraudulent report by a chimney inspector. In summary, we sold the house quickly and got a cash offer.

He offered terrific suggestions on what to do in order to get the house to market and offered names of trusted vendors so we could easily get pre-sale work done. Three years ago, my husband and I began to think about retiring to either Vermont or New Hampshire. We decided to start looking in the ski areas in Vermont and we enjoined a realtor, who worked for Four Seasons Sotheby's in Ludlow, Vermont. We were very happy with him, but in the end we made the decision to start our search in the Upper Valley. (Hanover, NH and Norwich, VT) He was kind enough to refer us to Richard "Rick" Higgerson who works out of the Hanover, New Hampshire office of Four Season's Sotheby's. . We set up an appointment with him the both of us hit it off with him right away. He was friendly, pleasant, prompt and very professional. We were bowled over by his knowledge of the real estate market in the Upper Valley. We were also pleasantly surprised at all of the other real estate agents that he knew personally and with whom he had very good relationships. We never once had an issue of previewing a property that was listed by another broker. Each time we came up to view properties, Rick had a plan mapped out for the day. He presented us with a comprehensive portfolio of the listings we were going to visit. He managed our time very wisely and not once were we wasting time waiting for a showing. Each trip was flawless. Once we found a property to purchase, Rick was there to help guide us through the offer process, the inspection, the mortgage and the closing. For two out of state residents, the task could have been daunting, but Rick made the entire process seamless. Rick's contacts within the industry are invaluable. We would highly recommend Rick Higgerson to any couple or family who were thinking of relocating to the Upper Valley. He will definitely find anyone their "forever" home.
