Richard Hodgeson

I married my high school sweetheart and my best friend. We were young broke and full of dreams. We worked hard to put each other through college and chased our careers with everything we had. I spent almost ten years working in law enforcement. It was intense. I saw hard things dangerous things and over time it started to wear me down. I was always tired on edge and somewhere along the way I realized I was not the husband or dad I wanted to be. I was there but I was not really present. One day my wife looked at me and said something I will never forget. I miss you. We miss you. Maybe it is time for something new. That moment changed everything. I knew I had to make a move for my health for my family and for my future. And that is when real estate found me. I started from scratch. When I was 33 I entered a whole new world. I did not know everything but I knew how to work hard and serve people with everything I had. I took the leap and real estate changed my life. Now I get to help families like mine find the space they need the peace they want and the future they dream about. I know what it feels like to be stretched thin to want better for your family and to need a new chapter. I have lived it. And now I have built a life where I get to help others do the same.
