Richard Nathan

Dick Nathan, ABR has been a realtor since 1983. A multi-million-dollar producer, Dick is a Lifetime Member of both the Multi-Million Dollar Club and Top Producers' Club of the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors. He has a sales volume among the top 5% of realtors across the United States.

A native of a Manhattan suburb, Rutherford, N.J., Dick graduated from The College of William and Mary and holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning degree from the School of Business and Real Estate Development at George Washington University, where he was the Oliver T. Carr Fellow for one year. He has been a resident of Arlington County since 1980. His wife, Joy Hutzel Nathan, was raised in Alexandria, and also graduated from The College of William and Mary, where they met. She is a division director of a group of communications professionals who manage government contracts at a Bethesda-based consulting firm. In early 2005 she was appointed by the Arlington County Board to serve on the new Arlington Commission on Long-term Care Residences; she is also a member of the Junior League of Washington.
