Will Rogers is quoted as saying “Buy Land. They ain’t making any more of the stuff”. Why not buy land, it rarely decreases in value? In my opinion, even with economic downturns and the Real Estate market goes stagnant, it is an asset for your books that stays constant. Premier Properties gave me the opportunity to become an agent after I obtained my license in 2017. I have been a resident of Palo Pinto County since 1981 but my family has owned and operated land in Palo Pinto County since the 1960’s, as well as, Parker, Jack, and Wise Counties in Texas and Roosevelt County, New Mexico. I graduated High School at Chico ISD in 1979 and attended Weatherford College for a few semesters before entering the gas transmission industry in 1981. While working a day job, I farmed and ranched nights and weekends in Palo Pinto County. This is where I met and married my wife Stella, and we were blessed with two daughters, Christy and Jennifer. After 19 years in gas transmission, I decided to pursue my passion full time, cattle buying and selling fat cattle out of feed yards in Texas and Kansas. In 2010, I had the chance to return to the classroom to finally finish my degree at Weatherford College and Tarleton State University and graduated Magna cum laude with a BS degree in Agriculture Economics with Emphasis in Agri-Business.
