Rick's career in real estate began at a young age as the son of a local home builder, often working on his father's construction sites. After graduating from the University of California at Santa Barbara and later Santa Clara University, Rick began his professional career as a commercial real estate broker focusing on the sale and leasing of industrial property at Cornish & Carey Commercial. Since 2010, Rick and his wife Suzanne (REALTOR® | lic.01422075), who is also his real estate collegue at Compass, have purchased approximately 40 properties for the purpose of renovating and reselling. Rick's background in commercial/residential real estate sales, coupled with his knowledge of real estate investment and property renovation provide a unique skill set in assisting clients with their real estate needs.

Rick and Suzanne’s marketing platform hinges largely upon the use of social media marketing through Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram. Through the development of superior marketing collateral, like promotional videos, Rick and Suzanne are able to promote their client’s properties in a very appealing manner, while reaching many more prospective buyers than would be possible through the use of only traditional marketing tools. The analytics of each social media channel are monitored, and adjustments are made on a daily basis to optimize the message and outreach.
