Rick Wyatt

Rick Wyatt’s working career began after obtaining my BA in Economics in 1970 from Hendrix College. He became an industrial engineer for thirteen years, then switched to a financial career. He worked for the Federal Deposit Insurance Commission (FDIC) for a few years before joining a commercial bank in 1985. That same year he acquired his Arkansas Real Estate Commission Broker's license, as well as a BS in Accounting from Arkansas State University. His Broker's license helped him in his banking career with a better understanding of real estate law and the real estate market in general.
During rick’s banking career he acquired his banking degree from Louisiana State University. He ended his banking career in 2016 as a Community Bank President. He had obtained a great understanding of real estate in residential development, home construction, commercial and industrial real estate, tax free exchange, mortgage financing, etc. He and his wife developed three residential subdivisions, constructed over 30 homes, operated a cattle farm, managed their hay operation, and gave financial advice to many of my former bank customers.
Rick is a full time Associate Broker with Coldwell Banker Village Communities and has great knowledge of all real estate areas. He was a Rotarian for over 30 years and served on the board of directors of many committees over the years (Habitat for Humanity, Ducks Unlimited, Finance Committee of Walnut Street Baptist Church, Home builders of Northeast Arkansas, Boy Scouts, Craighead County Solid Waste Authority, Jonesboro, AR Chamber of Commerce, Paragould, AR Chamber of Commerce, Craighead County Stormwater Commission).
