She loves gardening (a result of being raised on an Iowa farm) and cooking with her family, as well as golfing and being a volunteer mom for her son's crew team. Rita and her husband Dave love to travel and are slowly checking off countries visited. She has served on the boards of the local Habitat for Humanity and her local church.
