Rob Blakely

Mr. Blakely started his career in real estate building homes in Northern Virginia and Charlotte, North Carolina eventually calling Tampa Bay, Florida home. While in Tampa he became focused on real estate investment strategies and became buyer representative. Soon after he joined Sunshine Development Group, a subsidiary of Minnesota based Developer Sand Companies Inc. specializing in market rate/affordable housing as well as hospitality development and management with a focus in site selection and the development processes. He continued to expand his knowledge in LITHC Funding (tax credits) through Finance Corp and CDD bond sales while furthering his formal education at University of South Florida studying Community Real Estate and Development where his studies included how to utilize Federal, State and Local incentives and programs to develop projects with layered financing and heavy tax incentives. Later, Rob went on to join Agro Trade International as a buyer representative. Now as a National Acquisitions Director with Welfont. Rob is putting his knowledge and experience to work helping clients uncover commercial real estate investment opportunities and guiding them through complex transactions. Mr. Blakely is a true family man and is blessed with two young sons. Gavin and Jude, who in his words “has a fresh love for everyday”. Rob spends his free time studying scripture and sharing God’s love through pastoral work and mentoring. He also enjoys the outdoors and running like “Forrest Gump”.
