About Rob

Rob Opitz is thrilled to be a Realtor. It is very honored that you stopped for a moment to read this. Rob Opitz grew up in Central Illinois, in a small town of only 1300 people. Moving away from that town was always the plan, but Rob always assumed that Rob would wind up in Chicago or St. Louis. Atlanta seemed may as well have been across the Atlantic Ocean, as far as Rob was concerned. Rob's background is steeped in music. After attending school to become a band director, Rob taught for one year in Illinois, and then made the move to Metro Atlanta in the late 1990s. From then until 2013, Rob taught in public schools as a band director, serving Marietta, Cobb County, and Cherokee County schools. In the spring of 2013, Rob got the opportunity to move to the college realm, and took on a new challenge at Reinhardt University, and later transitioned to Kennesaw State University as an artist in residence on jazz trumpet. You may be asking – how is this guy a Realtor? The answer is simple. Rob likes to help people achieve their dreams and goals in real estate. Everyone likes to be helpful, but for Rob, it's much more than that. It's just something Rob loves to be, and Rob has been very successful at it. Success is its own currency.
