The story of how I got into real estate goes back to my childhood. My parents, Nancy and Don, had their own real estate sales and property management company, and starting when I was 5, I’d go with my mom to her open houses. Throughout the years, I’d watch from the backseat while my parents drove around town, looking at properties.

After Soquel High School, I went to St. Mary’s College, in the Bay Area, and graduated in liberal arts and economics. I worked for several years in corporate sales and tech before my wife, Laurie, and I decided to move back to Santa Cruz, with its fresh air and friendly people. This is where I rediscovered my family legacy and where we started our family. Our son, Mason, is now old enough to go with me to my open houses.
