Robbie Shoemaker is the Broker and Owner of Flamingo Real Estate & Management, a full-service real estate firm known for its expertise, integrity, and commitment to client success. With a career that began in 2005, Robbie quickly made a name for himself—earning recognition as the top sales agent for eight consecutive years. In 2013, fueled by a vision to create a more personalized and results-driven real estate experience, he opened the doors of Flamingo Real Estate & Management.
Thanks to his leadership and hands-on approach, the company quickly outgrew its original office and expanded into a larger space in Wildwood, Florida. Robbie has since brokered hundreds of millions of dollars in real estate transactions, spanning residential, commercial, and industrial properties, along with vacant land, 1031 exchanges, bank-owned properties, short sales, property management, and both residential and commercial leases.
“I love real estate because every day it's something new,” says Robbie—a sentiment that reflects his passion and adaptability in an ever-changing market.
Outside of real estate, Robbie enjoys golfing, fishing, and staying active, but nothing brings him more joy than spending time with his family—his wife and business partner, Jamie Shoemaker, and their two children, Robbie IV and Charlie. Jamie, a licensed real estate agent and co-owner of the firm, plays a pivotal role in the company’s continued growth and success.
As a third-generation native Floridian, Robbie’s deep-rooted connection to the state fuels his passion for Florida’s real estate industry and his commitment to serving both the local community and the real estate profession. His involvement on various boards is driven by a desire to positively shape the future of the industry and give back to the communities that have supported his journey. He proudly serves as a Board Director for the Realtors Association of Lake and Sumter Counties, a Board Director for Habitat for Humanity of Lake and Sumter Counties, is the Past President of the Wildwood Rotary Club, and the Past Chairman of the Florida Commercial Brokers Network. He is also an active member of the Sumter County Chamber of Commerce, a local baseball coach, church leader, and involved in many other community initiatives.
With a strong foundation of hard work, a genuine love for the industry, and a deep appreciation for family and community, Robbie continues to lead Flamingo Real Estate & Management with vision, heart, and purpose.
