Rob comes to the world of real estate from the world of small business and investment management. With a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a master’s in industrial administration from Carnegie Mellon, Rob has a passion and knack for numbers and he leverages his unique skill set for buyers looking to purchase investment properties.
As a former small business owner, Rob has the precise mindset needed to guide you through the investment process. He uses a quantitative approach to assess if a property is a suitable investment; serves as a counselor and advisor through the process; and even provides helpful guidance and documents post-closing to help you run your new business (e.g. regarding tenants, taxes etc.). His goal is to find a property for you that will ultimately yield a satisfactory total return, while still keeping the "soft" factors in mind.
For years he has been purchasing and running his own investment properties so he has worked through some of the toughest scenarios from foreclosures to shorts sales to HUD properties. He doesn’t just talk the talk, he walks the walk.
And, as a former business professor, he truly enjoys imparting his real world experience in running successful businesses, just as he’s done. He feels you never stop learning, and the education side of investment real estate really fulfills his continued desire to teach and learn.
So, if you are looking for someone who understands the "investment" part of investment property, Rob is the perfect fit.
Rob is the father of three and grandfather of seven. In his spare time, he enjoys utilizing his private pilot license to fly planes.
