After talking and working with a few agents, we found that we were accommodating their schedule to make things convenient for them. It was even more difficult getting them to send listings of new homes on the market. Here we were, doing all the leg work and hoping they could not only show the home but would be knowledgeable enough to answer any questions we had about the home or neighborhood. Then came Roberta Corrin. I found that Re/Max had the most current site and was always up to date. After viewing the site a few times, I received a some emails from Roberta asking if she could help us find our next home. Her persistence, dedication, personality, professionalism and most importantly her ability to listen and communicate won us over. We finally had someone who was interested and helping us find exactly the type of home we wanted and within our budget. She is very knowledgeable about the law and neighborhoods. If she is not sure about something, give her an hour or so and you will have the information. But don't worry, there wasn't much she didn't know. To top it off, she accommodated our schedule. Good bye to those 3:00pm only showings! No time was bad for her, even with all the clients she serviced, she made you feel as if you were the only one. I know it sounds strange but we really had the best time and couldn't be more comfortable in her presence. She is one real estate agent that truly has her clients best interest at heart. She doesn't let anything slide by. This lady is a hard worker and deserves recognition for her ability to make dreams come true for home buyers. She listened so well that we had our home within 2 weeks! Just closed the deal this past week. We are now using her expertise to sell one of our homes. House hunting from a distance is challenging, and you need an agent who actually takes the time to call you....and can interact online also. Helped Me Buy a Home Roberta is awesome! If you are looking for a realtor that will be up front and honest look no further. Roberta was well informed of the local area and was always keeping us up to date on new or updated listings. Helped Us Buy a Home My wife and I cannot say enough good things about Roberta. She walked us through the home buying process from start to finish and continues to provide advice as needed even now. As first time homeowners, we started off our path to home ownership not knowing just how valuable a good Realtor would be for us, In a short amount of time our thinking completely changed and we realized that Roberta was there to protect us and serve our best interests. After taking us to see no less than 20 homes, we put in an offer on what we thought was the home of our dreams. Roberta wrote an offer that was fair to both the sellers and ourselves. Our offer was countered and then accepted. Roberta was so great doing the whole purchase agreement process. She made sure that we were safeguarded, and kept our best interests in mind. Sadly, the appraisal came back really low on this home and both parties decided to move on. At that point, we were pretty much devastated. We felt as if we'd found the perfect house for us and lost it. After a week or so of feeling sorry for ourselves we snapped out of it and told Roberta we'd like to continue our search. She was very happy to help us, and took us to see several more homes. We found a home in Perry Township that had so many things we wanted in a home. A large backyard, big bedrooms, good neighborhood, well maintained, and the best part was we ended up getting it for almost 30k less than the first home, and we like it better! Without Roberta's help I do not feel as if we could have made this happen. Between the low appraisal on the first home, and working out a deal on the second home..it just showed us how important having a good realtor truly is.
