Roger has been married to his beautiful wife, Marjorie, for 30 years. They grew up in Petaluma, where they met in high school. Since then, they’ve made Chico their home for over 35 years.
After climbing the corporate ladder in the retail industry, Roger found the ladder was leaning against the wrong building and fell. The birth of his oldest son, who has Down Syndrome, started his most important job, full time Dad. Two sons and a daughter soon followed. This opportunity gave Roger time to become involved in the community. His volunteer service began as a board member of Innovative Pre-School, and then he was a board member of Chico Central Little League for 10 years. As his kids were growing, he coached Little League and travel ball baseball and softball teams. He continues to coach golf and basketball for Special Olympics Northern California in Butte County.
The kids are not young anymore - a career “reboot” led Roger to Real Estate. Why Real Estate? “I’ve always thought of home ownership as part of the American Dream, so we became owners, then investors, and now as an agent, it’s my way to help people make their dreams come true! Home ownership is still the American Dream, and I want to help my friends and family build wealth through Real Estate.”
When Roger is not bringing his strategic, yet personable approach to the home buying and selling process, he spends time with his wife and four children going on special adventures, making family memories, and in the process - raising great adults. His hobbies include playing golf, riding his mountain bike, exercising, driving the boat while the kids wake board and surf (and he begs them to waterski), fishing, and camping. Roger loves Chico and the great adventures that Northern California offers.
That’s the quick story. “I look forward to learning about and sharing in yours.”
