Initially, the thought of buying and selling a home was so intimidating, but working with Romi really took the guesswork out the process. All I can say is wow, Romi is truly amazing!! He was more than a real-estate agent, he is a friend. He had my best interests at heart. He does an amazing job researching the area and showing you the possibilities. After the pandemic and lockdowns, as well as some monumental health developments dramatically impacted our lives, we knew we needed to find a new home outside the city, but it couldn’t just be any home. It had to be right for our four kids, in a neighborly neighborhood, close to good churches and other amenities but with enough space to stretch our legs. On top of all this, we needed to sell our home in Chicago. It was a tall order, so we turned to Romi Olariu for help.

Romi treated our family like it was his own. He listed our home magnificently, bringing in his own photographer who made our place look wonderful. He described it well in the listing, and then diligently dealt with prospective buyers and their agents. He got us several offers; we ended up selling for above asking price. In the process he demonstrated a thorough knowledge of market trends and movements.

As for getting us into our new home, Romi listened to us well, ensuring he knew what we were looking for, and brought us to many houses on our search. He even said that if we were to choose a location out of his area of geographic expertise, that he would recommend us to someone else who could make sure our needs were met. In the end, though, that wasn’t necessary. We found our dream home in just the right neighborhood. We had some issues during closing, that Romi helped us navigate well—the man knows how to push ahead to get things done.

Romi demonstrated the highest level of ethical business practices, a robust knowledge of real estate, and a genuine care for our family. I can’t recommend him highly enough.
