Ron Abrams

Ron brings 19 years of experience as a Real Estate Developer and Investor, and 20 plus years as an Illinois Attorney. As principal of the Law Offices of Ron D. Abrams PC, he pursues Property Tax Appeals in Cook County.
Ron has won 14 Chicago Good Neighbor Awards for residential renovations. He has contributed as a Real Estate Expert on NPR, WBBM, WIND, WMAQ, WCKG, WLS radio, CBS television, and in the Wall Street Journal and Chicago Tribune.

Ron has served multiple terms on the Board of Directors to the 40,000-plus members of the Illinois Realtors and the Chicago Association of Realtors. He has been the Chairman of the IR’s and CAR’s Government Affairs Committees and has met and collaborated with many of Chicago’s and Illinois’ elected Representatives. He is proud to be a Board Member and active with the Edgewater Uptown Builders Association (EUBA).
The Chicago Association of Realtors honored him as Realtor of the Year in 2015. Ron was also awarded a Character Counts Award from his community. Ron holds a BA from the University of Illinois, Champaign, IL and a JD from DePaul University of Law, Chicago, IL.
