I've been engaged in commercial real estate since 1984. After a year of arranging FMCG business transactions at a boutique start-up brokerage, I joined Polimeni Realty, where I exclusively represented retail property owners and national retail chains.
After several years at Polimeni - having led a 30 person office in volume for three years running - I operated independently focusing on QSR/Fast Casual restaurant deals, and reunited several years later with my colleagues as Partner and Executive Vice President of Polimeni International. In addition to expanding on its northeast regional portfolio, I planned and implemented their renowned development program in Central Eastern Europe. Over the next decade, we secured ten properties and developed six shopping centers totaling 135,000 square meters (1.45 million square feet), comprised of 300+ retailers hailing from 5 countries. The success of this enterprise is even more notable considering that it encompassed multiple legal jurisdictions, tax regimes, currencies, time zones and languages. The accomplishments of a well-deserving international team were recognized in the industry, when I twice accepted on its behalf the team, the “Shopping Center of the Year” award at the annual CEE Retail Awards conferences.

As development retreated during the ‘08 financial crisis, I founded Baltic America Properties, established team of independent contractors in Warsaw to develop acquisition/ realignment strategies to deliver consulting services to investors acquiring commercial assets and together with major French pension fund, cosponsored a $190 million acquisition effort of Polish retail portfolio from London based hedge fund

Having returned to the US, I have been advising property owners, investors and national developers in New York. Identifying solution to a pressing local issue, I collaborated with one of the largest construction companies in the tri-state region to cosponsor a proposal for an $80 million apartment-parking development project in the Town of Huntington.

Most recently, seeing Realty Connect USA’s explosive growth in the residential brokerage industry, I signed on to initiate and ramp-up their commercial division, RC Commercial Partners, leveraging their vast resources to replicate their astonishing success in the commercial industry.
