Rona was a great asset to have throughout our home buying experience! As first time home buyers, my husband and I always had countless questions, concerns, and fears that Rona tackled head on and always managed to leave us feeling informed and in control. Rona was by our side throughout the process and even came with us to every single open house to offer her insights and knowledge to ensure we were putting forth competitive, yet reasonable offers. When we finally got an accepted offer, Rona was readily available to ensure a smooth 21 day escrow. Rona fought for us as buyers to maintain fair negotiations that left us feeling confident with our decisions. We will miss seeing Rona every weekend and looking at houses throughout the San Diego area, but we are thrilled to be in our new home in our desired location! Rona helped us find the perfect first home even in this ridiculous market!

Her very creative offer writing skills were able to get my son and I our dream house. There were 8 offers in on this one and one was substantially higher than ours, but she pulled it off and with the help of a great financial team we closed in three weeks!👏

If you need a Realtor who is understanding, patience, flexible, funny and most importantly makes you a priority... then you have to contact RONA!!! There's so many realtor out there but none like her. She remembered all our requests. She understand our needs. She showed us homes at a drop of a hat, even if she knows I won't end up liking it. Best part is, she went into Escrow with the best intentions for us! She fights for us. She took time to explained things to us, 1st time home buyers. Sometimes she had to repeat things over n over but not once did she get upset or annoyed. We searched for a house since March 2020 and finally closed on a house on Feb 2021. Through this long journey, I had a realtor who took our best interest to heart. Now that we reached our goal, I have a friend who my family is now ever blessed and grateful to have in our lives.

I whole-heartedly recommend her!!!

Rona , omg , she was truly amazing!! Taking me and my husband , people who were just starting to become homeowners, from step 1 to step 10, in a very detailed but efficient process about how everything works from down payments and terms like escrow and HOA, it was definitely Worth it!! She LISTENS to requests and tidbit about what u like, and supports you in it all!!! I would highly Recommend Rona Mercado to anyone thinking about getting any type of home in the San Diego area!!!!
