Service, Not Sales!!! I’ve had many conversations with people over the years that say, “Hey, you’d make a great salesperson!!” I have always immediately responded with a resounding NO WAY!! I figured out why… I don’t like “Selling”! I love Service however!! Every job I’ve had has been in service, specifically tending to the needs of people around me and making sure they’re taken care of. I have been called a “Jane of all Trades” for the variety of jobs I’ve had, but the common theme with all was serving people! Even as a stay-at-home mom for 15 years, I loved serving! I loved doing for my family, anticipating their needs and generally trying to make their lives better. I served and volunteered my children’s entire school career and still do! So, now the kids are almost grown and I’m entering a new season of my life, so I was naturally drawn to this field!
I have worked as a Transaction Coordinator and Assistant for 4-5 years and am now in my third year of being a Licensed Agent. The last two and a half years while working as a Transaction Coordinator, I was with a prominent developer here in Central Kentucky, acting not only as the Transaction Coordinator for the new construction, but I listed and sold new homes, older homes and ran the selections process with home buyers and their agents. I have gained so much respect and admiration for not only the agents I’ve worked under, but all the agents I’ve come in contact with since. I feel fortunate that I now can give back to a field that gave so much to me. I can’t wait to serve you and be a part of the wonderful and exciting journey of all thing’s real estate!
