Ross has more than 26 years of experience in residential real estate and a vast knowledge of new construction. He is a graduate of East Carolina University with a degree in Marketing. Ross' experience with construction began when he worked for a small custom builder during his summer breaks through high school. This gravitated into subcontracting work to building decks and additions during his breaks to help pay his way through college. With his wealth of knowledge in construction and marketing, Ross put his skills to use for 23 years with National Builders. Ross Wilhelm was indispensable to us buying a lot to build our home. He is very familiar with how the build process works, and he saved us several thousand dollars with his experience and foresight. With his negotiating skills and insight, he helped us navigate the offer process and feasibility period. I definitely recommend him to anyone and everyone that needs a realtor in the Frederick area, especially if you want to build.

Ross Wilhelm is hands-down the best realtor in the Frederick area. We were looking for a lot to build a new home in Frederick and came across Ross as one of only two realtors I could find with home construction experience. The other guy took two weeks to return our call and we heard back from Ross within the hour. In a previous career, Ross worked in home construction and the connections and knowledge that experience has given him proved invaluable in our search process. He was able to expertly guide us in the lot search and, once we found a lot, through the feasibility study. His recommendations saved us over $6,000 in well repair costs when we found issues on the lot we wanted. He is responsive, tactful, knowledgeable and willing to teach. We really started with zero understanding of the home building process, and I cannot emphasize enough how valuable working with Ross was in giving us the confidence in our purchase and build plan. While we were looking for a lot, his expertise would be on point for buying an already constructed home. He knows what to look for, who to contact, and what needs to be done to make sure you know exactly what you're buying. I highly recommend working with Ross.
