Roxana Dorneanu

When it comes to selling real estate, Roxana's personal experience with buying and owning property, along with professional experience selling, is crucial. She has been the proud owner of her landmark townhouse since 1995, and through this, she has gained valuable insights into the real estate process, from searching and purchasing to ownership and tenant management. This has led her to a commitment to share her knowledge with others. Additionally, she has been invited to serve on the board of directors of her cooperative on the Upper West Side.

With a degree in philosophy and psychology from Hunter College, she developed acute listening skills early on. Prior to her venture into real estate, she enjoyed successful years in restaurant management and extensive travel. Her lifelong interest in real estate and fascination with landmark architecture led her to choose this field as her profession after purchasing her first property. She has equal experience representing both buyers in finding the right property and sellers in marketing their property and negotiating on their behalf. Following a highly successful year in The Corcoran Group's Brooklyn Heights office, she joined Corcoran's Soho office in 2000. She has consistently demonstrated exceptional sales capabilities and has been recognized as "Broker of the Month." In 2007, Roxana was chosen by her peers to represent them on the Advisory Board of the Corcoran Group.

She is not a one-dimensional person. You might find her running in Central Park, shopping at Fairway for her next dinner party, or walking her Westie, Zola, on the Upper West Side, where she resides. She also enjoys various outdoor activities such as sailing, biking, hiking, rock climbing, and gardening at her weekend house in Northern Dutchess County.
