I have been active in the Volusia County market place since 1967, after graduation from Stetson University in Deland with a BBA in Marketing & Management
Joining Ormond Beach First National Bank in 1972 I began a 25 year career in finance, lending, real estate lending and management. My last banking position was with Barnett Bank (now Bank of America) as Central Florida Manager of Special Assets and Real Estate Owned. Other responsibilities over the career includes Executive Vice President and Senior Lender in two affiliated banks, Regional Executive Vice President Commercial Real Estate, Executive Vice President and Manager Commercial Real Estate Department, First Florida Banks Inc., Tampa and then a transition into Special Assets and Owned Real Estate.
After leaving the banking industry I joined a private real estate brokerage before opening my own firm in 1998. I have been Vice President and Manager of the Adams Cameron & Co., Realtors Commercial Division since 2001.
I served in the US Army Reserve as Company Commander and Battalion Staff Officer in Daytona, Melbourne and Jacksonville.
Licensed as a Real Estate Broker with the State of Florida since 1998 and received a GREEN designation in 2010.
Currently I am involved with the Rotary Club of Ormond Beach as Director, and past President for 2009-10, have served as Chairman of the Commercial Investment Committee, Daytona Beach Association of Realtors for two terms.
As a 2007 Graduate of Leadership Daytona I am involved in the local community as a member of the board of Ormond Beach Main Street and serve on the Economic Redevelopment Committee and the Design Committee.
