I reached out to Mr. Nelson because he was selling a house in my neighborhood. In my opinion, most agents were listing homes at a below market price in our area in an attempt to take advantage of the quick sales. Mr. Nelson was selling a home on our street for a 20%+ more than the comps in the area and sold the home within days. Roy was professional and his experience was spot on. He sold our home for what he said he would, which exceeded our expectations. We had three offers on day one and accepted an offer that was over asking price and was not contingent upon the appraisal. The selling process was simple and the new owners worked with us on the move out. The selling process should have nothing to do with who you know but I see most people hiring an agent who they have been referred to or actually know. Most of these people have complaints after the process. I work in an industry where I get 40+ calls a year from real estate agents trying to get proposals from my company to assist with selling/buying negotiations. Most of the real estate agents that I deal with only care about their commission. Nothing more. Roy Nelson never gave me that felling. He was professional, was not overbearing and his experience created a calm and easy situation.
