When our family relocated back to Seattle's Eastside in early 2021, Roy was recommended to us by a friend who works in the real estate industry (not as a broker). We were told he was "the best." A little background...we've moved a lot - mostly corporate relocations, so have worked with realtors in many metropolitan areas. We wanted to find our "forever house" as we were ready to settle back in the area permanently. The housing market was (and still is) very hot, but we were determined not to settle on anything less than the home we could see our family living in for a very long time. Enter Roy....he has a large team but handled our home search personally. He really knows the market, was honest with us about what we were up against, and didn't sugar coat anything. But he definitely made us feel confident that we would find the right house. He did not disappoint - he has built relationships over time with brokers, agents, lenders, builders, you name it he knows everybody! He was able to get information very fast (before the competition), giving us a little buffer to make important decisions in a crazy market. Roy ended up helping us secure new construction off-market, before the lot was even listed. Relationships are everything! We couldn't be happier with our new home and with Roy (and his whole team - BTW Emily is amazing and helped us work out with all the details/options for the new home with the builder).

Roy was known to us as THE person in our community for all matters concerning real estate and was selected by all of our neighbors choosing to sell their home. We worked with Roy for about four months to get our house prepped, listed, sold and bought a new house in the school district we wanted. Buying a house we want in 2021 was not an easy feat and we had to do it on a budget but Roy somehow made it happen. He had good negotiation skills and the right contacts in the area to get us the right kind of information for bidding and he was super responsive to our (sometimes obsessive) questions/rants so I always felt like our family was on top of his mind even though I know he has tons of other clients. Roy also had a great team of people working with him that range from staging, landscaping, painting, etc. which made it super easy for us to find the right people for any jobs we needed. Selling a house in this market was relatively easy but Roy made is even easier with schedule arrangements and right references.

I honestly thought finding the right house in 2021 market was a lost cause. But looking back now, having an agent like Roy working for me made a huge difference. Strongly recommend.

It would be impossible to praise Roy too much. We started working with him a full 3 months before we had any intention (or ability) to purchase a home. Instead of pushing us away until we were serious, Roy went above and beyond to help us get an understanding of the market and prepare us for heavy competition with other buyers. After at least three "practice" showings, nearly 10 "real" showings and a few offers, Roy was able to help us land a great home. We got the home off of the market in under 36 hours by leveraging his relationships and negotiating skills.

Roy is the real deal in terms of his connections and area knowledge. With the help of his Director of Operations, Emily, his customer service is top tier as well. Roy and Emily were amazing, they effortlessly jumped through hurdles, handled quick turnarounds, and had a team of vendors waiting in the wings to get our home on the market in record time. They kept us updated through the whole process, provided insight when needed, let us make our own decisions when that was needed, and overall were just great people.

Roy Towse is a fantastic Real Estate Agent. We received the best service from him and his excellent team. He answered all of our questions and offered lots of information from his vast knowledge of the industry. The Seattle metro region is very competitive for home buying and Roy was able to guide us to an incredible home and helped us have our bid be excepted against several competing offers. Roy also recommended a great Mortgage company and they were the best mortgage group we have ever worked with.

Not only was Roy great but the Real Estate Company he works for - Compass Real Esate offers so many online tools we could not find anywhere else. Compass has an app with a feature called Collections where you and your Agent can select homes and make private comments on each and give feed back. It made the home buying process much easier.

Roy is a true professional. He is up to date on market trends. He was spot on with pricing our home and knew exactly when to put our home on sale.

Before meeting Roy we were wondering if we should sell the home ourselves. We are glad we opted for Roy. There were many hurdles along the way from snow storms, fallen tree to a toddler running crazy on the upper level. He proactively took care of all issues. He was always the first to call and give me an update.

I was truly blown away by the strategic plan he came up with to sell our home. He helped us in getting a contractor to repair our home.
Then he took care of the professional photography and staging. His team did a wonderful job scheduling different vendors. The timing couldn't be more impeccable, we were able to list the home within the time frame we initially planned for.

Once listed, he took care of the open house and marketing. The icing on the cake was that he was also doing social media marketing for our home. I did not know of any real estate agent making use of social media marketing to sell a home, until I met Roy. He is everything a realtor should be .. realistic when he needs to be .. super optimistic when the seller starts hitting low.. extraordinarily patient and not to forget he has an army of vendors taking care of everything in the house. Roy did a great job as our sellers AND buyers agent. We dealt with many adverse people, situations and barriers to selling our home and he handled them all very professionally. He's selling more homes than in anybody else in Sammamish for a reason. He's an excellent communicator not only with his clients, but with the other players in the deal. When selling a home, you will spend a lot of time talking with your agent. Roy is someone that I really enjoyed working with and getting to know. Highly recommended!
