About Ruben

Before real estate became Ruben’s full-time career, he worked at Elon Musk’s rocket factory, SpaceX, in Hawthorne, Ca. Ruben joined back in 2010 working in the machine shop, and that quickly led to more opportunities within the Supply Chain department as a material planner. During Ruben’s last two years at SpaceX, he was working as a Process Planner for the Propulsion engineering department where he would write out detailed work instructions that are still used to fabricate parts of the rocket's engine. Working with one of the most innovative companies in the world for nearly a decade helped Ruben sharpen his skills in critical thinking, problem solving, and leadership. It is also where the “X” in "Real Xstate" comes from.
