The best type of agent: honest, straight-forward, discreet, knows how to bridge buyer-seller gaps even when, at the start, they are very wide. Even at the end of negotiations for my house at 2085 Caminito Terviso, there was a wide gap between the seller's price and what I was willing to pay. Russ Craig helped to carve a little off both ends of the price, and when a gap still remained, still found a way. How he did it, I never asked. I assume he reduced the size of his commission. The entire process with Russ was professional, pleasant, helpful and even fun. Buying a home can be a very stressful time and we had a small baby as well so it was even more stressful. Russ walked us through the whole process, answered all our questions and knew exactly what we wanted. He was the most honest, hardworking and knowledgeable realtor that we have ever dealt with. Russ Craig sold my condo for me in 2014. I was transferred to Texas for a job and put my place up for sale the day I left town. I worked with Russ long distance for the entire transaction. I was very comfortable that I had left town with the sale of my condo in the best hands possible. There was a very inexperienced realtor on the buyers side and Craig was extremely knowledgeable and was able to handle both guiding me as well as guiding her where we needed her to be with her client. She and her client were not easy to work with. Craig explained everything to me in detail with the MANY forms I had to fill out and gave me outstanding guidance throughout the entire process. It was not an easy process with me out of town and the realtor on the other side. The buyer was also out of the country. The sale went smoothly and I cant thank Russ enough as I was also involved in purchasing a house at the same time in Texas. I would not use any one else. Use Russ if you want an extremely experienced and good realtor. You won't be sorry. Bkriegel

Russ Craig was our agent when we purchased our home in 2001 and then again when we sold the property in 2014. In both instances he offered suggestions that saved us money and got the transactions completed quickly. Russ also helped my daughter and son-in-law with their home purchase and has always been available to answer any questions we might have regarding real estate. I have worked with Russ from 2000 - 2014 buying and selling 3 condos. 2 in La Jolla Colony and 1 in Carmel Mountain Ranch. The last one sold for around $540000.00 in September 2014 in the Las Palmas development. Russ has been amazing on both sides of the negotiating. He is professional, knowledgable and always patient. In1996 a friend recommended Russ to me after I had a negative experience with a popular real estate agent in University City. It was such a relief to find Russ who was so helpful and professional in the selling of my condo and the purchase of another one. I lived in that condo for 17 years and loved it. Even though I did not talk directly with Russ during that time, I was always mailed a yearly update of the activity of the properties in the neighborhood. In 2013 when I decided to buy a home, I immediately contacted Russ. He helped me buy the home of my dreams. Russ is professional, he is available ANYTIME day or night, he is honest, down to earth, he thoroughly explains every part of the transaction process including the legal jargon, and he is patient when you are trying to make a decision. Russ Craig is the best realtor I have ever known. He sold two of my condos; one in 2005 in San Diego and a second one in 2014 in Oceanside. He gave me great suggestions in selling my condos, including my asking higher prices than I had planned on asking. If it weren't for Russ Craig, I truly believe that I would never have gotten the prices I was asking for my condos. I got full price on my first condo, and a mere $3,000 less than my asking price on my second condo. Russ is strictly professional and so eager to do what he feels is best for his clients.
