About Russell
Russ Hebert III is the Broker in Charge/Owner of Carolina Foothills Real Estate in Clemson, South Carolina. Russ grew up in the business that his Father, Russ Hebert Jr. started. Licensed since the age of nineteen, Russ has been involved in some aspects of the business since working in property management part-time during his years as a student at Clemson University.
In 2021 Russ had the opportunity to purchase and merge the two oldest firms in Clemson. Foothills Real Estate (formerly Re/Max Foothills Real Estate) founded by Russ’ father in 1972 and Carolina Real Estate, founded in 1980. The combination of these has resulted in Carolina Foothills Real Estate, a full-service firm with residential, land, commercial, and management divisions.
In addition to residential real estate, Russ has also been involved in the development of some of the area's most unique communities. Clarendon Hall, Mill Creek Farms, The Enclave on Sloan, Courtyard on Sloan, and Oakledge on Calhoun are just a few of the fine developments that he has been involved with.
Russ also has an in-depth understanding of the current commercial/development market in the area and knowledge of the zoning laws that are present in Clemson. A past City Councilman, as well as a 10-year member of the Clemson Architectural Review Board (8 as chairman), gives Russ a unique insight into the workings of the City of Clemson.
Russ and his wife Christy are the proud parents of four beautiful daughters: Hunter, Mason, Kayce, and Drew. In addition to family activities, Russ and Christy are members of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church and are active members of the D W Daniel High School Athletic Booster Club. In his spare time, Russ is also the kicking/special teams coach at D W Daniel High School where he is also chair of the Athletic Hall of Fame committee.
When not working or coaching, Russ is an avid historical researcher and relic hunter specializing in the Pendleton district with an emphasis on the early colonial to antebellum periods.
