Ryan Barker

Ryan Barker immersed himself quickly in the real estate business. Before he celebrated his first anniversary as an Abby Realty agent, he got together with Kevin Meine and created The Home Run Team.

Ryan does it all. He works with clients and helps them buy, sell and invest in homes. He also coaches and helps other young agents, including three of his teammates.

A Houston native, Ryan grew up in Pasadena and graduated from Clear Brook High School. He ventured up to Huntsville for college and earned a degree in music education from Sam Houston State University. Before starting his real estate career, Ryan worked as a band director at Klein Forest High School for 12 years.

Ryan and his wife, Cheryl, have four beautiful daughters — Delia, Charlotte, Corina and Samantha.

Ryan believes that people need agents who are ethical, professional and “fully committed to being client-centered” when they are making major decisions like buying or selling real estate. He aspires to building clients for life by both serving and educating his clients.

“Being a former teacher, I strive to use my experience and passion to educate my clients about the home-buying process so that they have a constant peace of mind throughout the transaction,” Ryan says.

Ryan loves taking his family camping. The Barkers recently purchased an RV and they’re anxious to get on the road and see the sights. Ryan also loves baseball. An Astros fan for life, Ryan coaches the Abby Realty softball team, the Closers, and bats cleanup. The director of the orchestra at his church, he also enjoys playing golf with his buddies.
