02/03/2012 - Highley Bought a Single Family home in 2011 in Wood Bridge Green, Powell, OH. Ryan helped us find a house to buy. We closed in January 2012. He was very organized about scheduling walkthroughs of prospective homes. He was always very punctual about arriving at our appointments. He was very open about pointing out good features in the houses, but also in pointing out problems with the houses. He was never pushy and never made us feel rushed. He took a very rational approach to establishing a reasonable market value for each house, taking into account any problems with the house that would require cash to remedy. Ryan and his staff were very good at guiding us through the selection process, the negotiation process, dealing with the inspector, dealing with contractors to get estimates on work that was needed, and dealing with the mortgage company and title company. We encountered some houses that were simply overpriced and Ryan took our reasonable offers to the sellers, made our arguments as to problems with the homes and comparable homes that had sold recently or were currently on the market and when the sellers were unwilling or unable to accept our offer Ryan never pressured us to offer more than what the houses were worth. Ryan has a friendly demeanor but was all business when it came to helping us find a house that met our needs and fit within our budget. He struck a great balance between having a sense of urgency in a market that is constantly changing and having the patience to continue looking for a house that met our needs and was reasonably priced. We would recommend Ryan to anyone in the market to buy a house.

He showed me the house and asked me what I liked and disliked so he can form an idea about what I'm looking for. Few days later Ryan sent me a link with a list of homes that matched my criteria. I was very impressed with his professionalism and courtesy. To make the search a little more interesting, I asked him to show me foreclosed properties, the following day I received a link to all the foreclosed properties within the school district I was interested in. Ryan scheduled two days to show me the properties I have chosen via the website. He was very patient, knowledgeable and keen to know the reasons why I would like one house vs. another. The third time was a charm, we found MY house! IT was everything I was looking for to the point that I told him BEFORE we stepped foot into the house that I'm buying this property! Ryan's communication with us was nothing short of fantastic. We received new listings in our price range daily and always got a call at least once a week to update us on any news from the selling of our house. If I ever had a question, he responded to my emails almost immediately and always returned my phone calls within the same day. Once we sold our house, we started looking for a new one. We are a newly married couple, and Ryan helped us find the perfect first house. Ryan knew the area in which we were searching very well including details about specific sub-divisions, school districts, and home values. He is a straight-forward, thorough realtor who gives you all the facts (positive or negative) and his professional opinion when called for. He is extremely knowledgeable about not only the home-buying process, but also architectural quality and resale values. Ryan kept in contact often and was very quick to respond to questions or appointment concerns, even at later hours in the evening and weekends. He always tried to work around our schedule to see houses. During the offer/counter offer process, Ryan offered sound advice and had a great sense of what a seller would and would not accept. He also made sure to include details in the contracts based on the house's specific needs as to what needed repairs, alterations, etc. On a personal level, Ryan is a great person who is nothing but friendly and courteous. Even though he made his income partially off commission, we never once felt pressured to offer a higher amount, accept an offer we were not comfortable with, or swayed towards liking a house that was not just what we were looking for. Ryan really took the extra time and effort to make sure we got exactly what we wanted for the price that we wanted. He really went above and beyond what he had to do. Even after we had purchased our house, Ryan called us to see how our new home was working out and to inform us of a property value assessment that could save us money on our property tax. Though we do not have experience with Ryan as a seller's agent, his stellar job as a buyer's agent shows us that he would do just as good of a job when selling a home. As an engineer myself, I was thankful to talk to someone with a strong technical background. He was very organized and made the process quick and painless.
