This was my second time working with Sachiko, and once again, she exceeded my expectations! We spent three different days touring properties, and she made the entire process incredibly smooth and comfortable, especially on the hot summer days when the temperature exceeded 86°F. She thoughtfully arranged a car service, which made a huge difference.
Sachi also guided me through the application process with great care, offering smart suggestions and negotiating on my behalf, which ultimately led to my approval. My experience with Sachiko Honda has been truly amazing. I first met Sachiko towards the end of December last year. This was my first time working with a real estate agent so I didn’t know what to expect. Throughout this entire process, I came to realize how invaluable it was to choose a knowledgeable and professional agent. I provided my requirements to her and she immediately start looking for suitable place for me. We went to many open houses and eventually got our offer accepted on a condo in Downtown Brooklyn. However, Sachiko’s attention to detail helped me realize that that place might not be a great fit for what I was looking for and potentially saved me a lot of money down the road. This made me realize that she truly puts her client’s needs first above her own.

Ultimately, we got our offer accepted on a 1bd/1bath condo in Park Slope which suited my needs perfectly. During the buying process, she communicated effectively, provided follow ups and was also very easy to get in contact with should you need any assistance regardless on the time of day. She provided comps, gave me recommendations to lenders, worked with the seller agent as well as attorneys just to name a few things. She made what would otherwise be a tedious and time-consuming process into a quick and painless one. I could not recommend Sachiko enough. It has been a pleasure working with her and will recommend to anyone looking for a new home.

I struggled a lot with the time difference and the differences in systems such as checks and guarantors. Moreover, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, everything had to be done online. The reason I was able to proceed with the process without feeling any anxiety was because of Sachiko. First, she is honest. I contacted several brokers using StreetEasy, but many of them didn't disclose the broker fee, deposit, and other necessary fees upfront, so the rent was almost always higher than what was displayed. On the other hand, Sachiko disclosed all the conditions for living in the apartment from the beginning, so I wasn't disappointed when I found out the true rent. Second, above all, she is fast. If I had any questions about the check or the application for the guarantor company, she would call me immediately despite the time difference. There is nothing more reassuring than that for a foreigner. I also signed the contract online, and I was able to complete it without any anxiety. Finding a property overseas for the first time, especially in NY, was really difficult. I'm so happy to have met Sachiko and to be able to live in such a comfortable room. 自分が住みたいと思った、素敵なアパートの担当がさちこさんで本当によかったです。 私は日本人であり、日本に住んでいる間にネットで物件を探しました。時差があることや、小切手や保証人などのシステムの違いにとても苦労しました。なおかつ、コロナウィルスのパンデミックのため、全てがオンラインでの進行でした。そんな状況でも全く不安を感じることなく手続きを進められたのはさちこさんだったからです。 １つ目は誠実であることです。Stree Easyを使って何人かのブローカーに連絡をしましたが、Broker FeeやDepositやその他必要な料金を最初に提示しない人が多くいたため、表示されているより家賃が高額になることがほとんどでした。一方でさちこさんはアパートに住む条件を全て最初に提示してくださいましたので、本当の家賃を知りがっかりすることはありません。 2つ目は何よりもスピードです。小切手、保証会社の申請でわからないことがあれば、時差があるにも拘らずすぐに電話をかけてくださりました。外国人にとってこんなに心強いことはありません。契約書のサインもオンラインで行いましたが、全く不安なく終えられました。 初めての海外、とりわけNYでの物件探しは本当に大変でした。さちこさんに出会い、居心地のいい部屋に住めることができて本当に嬉しいです。NYで物件を探す友人がいたら必ず勧めます。さちこさん、本当にありがとうございました！

highly recommend Sachiko! She had been helping my boyfriend and I find a place to buy in Manhattan and is a trustworthy, friendly real estate agent, which can be hard to find. She was attentive in understanding what our preferences and needs were, and we appreciated that she took those into account while advising what the best course of action was in buying a new home. It’s clear that she knows what is available in the NYC boroughs and has been instrumental in helping us look for a place. Sadly it didn’t work out in buying due to financial reasons but if we were to look for a place in Manhattan again, we would not hesitate to ask her help.
