Sam Ogburn

Sam's career in real estate began 30+ years ago, as a fourth generation real estate professional. He and Jane created Ogburn Properties in 2001 with a goal to serve clients seeking to buy, sell or rent properties or those needing property management services. He holds a North Carolina Real Estate Brokers License and is a licensed building contractor. Sam was awarded the Winston-Salem Regional Association of Realtors, Realtor of the Year award in 2015 and the Property Manager of the Year award in 2019.

Sam is an expert at positioning properties to maximize returns in both brokerage & management.

Additionally, Sam holds the following certifications: Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), Certified Property Manager (CPM), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI).

Sam has led a variety of real estate related boards over the years, including the Winston-Salem Association of Realtors (WSRAR), WSRAR Property Management Division and Multiple Listings Service, and the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) Chapter 56. His community involvement has included serving on the board of the Central Branch of the YMCA, Metro YMCA of Northwest North Carolina, and YMCA Camp Hanes. Sam also served on the Board of Trustees and Head of the Property Committee for Centenary United Methodist Church, as well as Assistant Scout Master for Boy Scout Troop 920.
