When my mother passed away in October I was the executor of her estate, which included selling her home in Cranston. I called Sandra Baker and right from the very first phone call I was completely impressed with her professionalism and knowledge of the estate and sales process. Sandra took what could have been a complicated, stressful process and made it a step by step success. After touring the home Sandra made recommendations regarding cleaning, painting, replacing this and that all to make the house more marketable. Based on her research of the comparable homes in the area, Sandra recommended a listing price we were happy with. After holding several open houses and showings Sandra got us a full price offer and sold the home in December, usually one of the worst times of year to sell a house. I contacted Sandra Baker shortly after my mother passed away on October 25th asking her to list and sell my mother's house for us in Cranston. Sandra's response was immediate and started with a visit to my mother’s house that same day. She provided me with a list of improvements we could do to the home to increase its value before she listed it. With her help I arranged to have new carpeting installed, some interior painting done, power washing, and a garage clean out. Although Sandra did warn me that the upcoming holiday season was the worst possible time to try to sell a house, she went ahead and held a successful open house the first weekend she had the listing. Sandra continually listed the home on social media pages as well as the MLS listing and a listing in a popular home buying magazine. During the sales period, I also appreciated the updates she continually provided to me through phone calls, emails, and face book messages. These efforts by Sandra resulted in our getting an offer at full list, before Christmas, which eventually turned into the sale and closing on January 29th. I will not hesitate to recommend Sandra Baker's services to anyone that I know that is looking to buy or sell a property.
