Sandra is a 4th generation Destin native who’s family roots run deep in Destin’s storied past. Early’s great grandfathers, William T. Marler and John Maltezos are legends of sorts. Marler, the namesake of the Destin Bridge built Destin’s first post office and had a hand in naming the town. Maltezos, an immigrant from Greece was a well-known boat builder and fisherman. Her family helped lay the foundation for Destin. Sandra’s grandparents, Dave and Stella Marler, owned the Florida Girl Motel, Florida Girl party boat and Capt. Dave’s on the Harbor restaurant and several other party boats, one of which her father, Jimmy Trammell obtained after he married her mother Doris Marler. Later, her father built the Reveille 2 and was instrumental in starting the Destin Charter Boat Association. They also owned the Reveille Motel and later built and owned Outriggers Five restaurant for over 17 years. Sandra has worked in tourism and service industry her entire life giving her extensive knowledge which led to a career in real estate. Sandra has been selling real estate over 10 years and is committed to honesty and integrity. Sandra also holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, and Criminal Justice. Her hobbies include swimming, fishing and all water activities and a love for Cocker Spaniels.
