Sara was terrific to work with. She tried very hard to understand what we were looking for in a home. She was knowledgeable and very thorough. It was always easy to get in contact with her. She went above and beyond to help our deal go through when we finally found a home that fit our needs. We are grateful to Sara for helping us find a great home for our family.

I met Sara at an open house and was immediately impressed with her willingness to not push a property on me, but to really listen to my needs and not only offer her help to me, but also point me in the direction of lenders that would help me with my specific needs. At the time, I was primarily interested in investment properties

A few months later, I contacted Sara, as our need shifted towards owner occupied housing. She adapted and really was active in trying to figure out what type of homes we were interested in purchasing. She is always listening, and has a wealth of knowledge and resources to customize each buyers interests.

I would recommend Sara's services, especially to buyers that do not want to be pushed into a sale that is not right for them.

My wife and I used Sara to buy our first home.  We did a lot of research, and a lot of browsing homes on apps before ever contacting her, so we thought we were prepared for the home buying experience. To be honest, we weren't.   It is so complicated, but Sara spent a lot of time teaching us what we needed to know.  She did this before we ever signed anything to actually use her.

We weren't in a hurry, and she was fine with this.  She gave us a to do list, and organized the process.  She recommended lenders, insurance companies, inspectors, title agents.  She made a complicated process that felt like a big, daunting mess, into a step by step process, where our jobs were to shop for the best prices, make calls, and figure out what we want.

She had us tell her what we needed, and wanted in a home, and then selected some homes for us to look at, to see what our tastes were really like.  She really got a good grasp of what we wanted,  and that process helped us decide what we needed in a home.  My wife and I have bad work schedules that don't line up well,  so time to look at homes was very limited.  She found a home that seemed like it checked all the boxes for us, but told us she didn't think it was the one for us.  She also informed us that she thought for sure it would sell very soon, and thanks to her we were prepared to place a bid if we needed to.  She was right about us not liking it, somehow knowing what we wanted better than we did.  She was also right about it selling soon.  It was on the market for 2 months before we looked at it, and it sold the day after we looked.

That was how she taught us to interpret real estate listings, and figured out how big of a house we wanted.  A few weeks later we were free to look again, and we picked a few homes to look at, and she picked some.  Then something crazy happened.   A home I had looked at and loved a few years ago came back on the market!  She arranged for us to see it.  We looked at 5 houses that day.  We liked 2 of them a lot.  We were going to go home and think about placing a bid, and then she got the news...

The home we loved had an offer, and they had to decide that day.  We had to decide whether put a bid in or not.  This is game time!  We don't know what the offer is, we don't know what to offer.  We really wanted the home.  We were prepared to offer $5,000 over asking price, but she told us to offer asking price, promising if it didn't work she would find us what we wanted, no matter what.  She seemed so sure, so confident, so honest, that we stopped panicking,  and listened.

They accepted!  Then the frenzy starts.  Hours of paperwork,  calls to the lender, the inspectors, the insurance company, and many calls to Sara for help, or to vent.  I probably sent her hundreds of texts in this process.   She kept us grounded, and assured us everything was fine.  No matter what was happening at the time, she was there for us.  She mentored, guided, and cared for us.

Through a twist of fate, the house we went with was being sold by an agent at another branch of her company.  She didn't care, she played hard ball.  I would say she was almost vicious.  She knew what inspections we should get, and suspected what they would find.  She used this to get us a better price.  At the end of the day, we got the house we wanted, for $7,000 less than we would've otherwise. That's how we could afford to make the improvements we needed to make the home we wanted into our dream home.

I'll end my review with a piece of advice she gave us.  When buying a home, you don't need to settle, but if you're looking for the house you'll live in the rest of your life, you may never find it.  Look for a house you could happily spend the next 7 years in.  That made the choice much simpler.  It was a smaller scale, and a simpler mindset.  Without that, we wouldn't have chosen the home we bought.  Without her, we would've just looked online for a few more years, watching all the homes we like being sold, because it was just too daunting of a process to start.

Sara is a great realtor and I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to buy a home. She helped my husband and I purchase our 1st home and was excellent when it came to not only finding exactly what we were looking for, but also in accommodating our very difficult schedules when it came to seeing houses. Communicating with her was a breeze. She was always quick to respond to emails, texts and phone calls. She is very organized and made the home buying process easy and understandable for a clueless first time home buyer like myself. I honestly can not say enough nice things about her, she was amazing.
