About Sara

Born and raised in central Mississippi, Sara earned an Accounting degree from Mississippi State University and commenced her career at Cal-Maine Foods. In 1981, she took a leap, relocating to Houston, drawn by the booming oil industry. Following roles at IMCO Services and Dresser Industries, she ventured into real estate, obtaining her license.

Embracing real estate fervently, Sara worked with various firms before founding Gordon Ford Properties in 2009. During the market downturn, she also pursued a passion for wine, establishing The Urban Vine. After selling the store in 2013, Sara fully re-immersed herself in real estate, embodying dedication, fearlessness in negotiations, and creative advertising. With a Broker's License and multiple designations, she brings over 1000 hours of education to her practice. A RE/MAX Hall of Fame inductee, Sara remains active in community activities and enjoys family time, including being a proud grandmother to Lyla, along with working out, traveling, dancing, and cruising on her Honda Valkyrie with her Honey.
