About Sara
Sara reconnected with The Garner Group in November 2009 to become the company’s Managing Principal Broker. She has over 15 years of experience in real estate sales and administration, title and escrow services. Sara was a member of the Central Oregon Association of Realtors board of directors in 2012 and was elected Treasurer for the 2013-2014 term.
Born in Portland, Sara has lived most of her life in Central Oregon. She worked for title and escrow companies in Bend and Washington state before joining Sandy and Jay Garner in 1999 as office assistant. After the team became branded as The Garner Group in 2002, Sara served as transaction coordinator and later as office manager.
Sara earned her Oregon real estate Broker’s license in 2002. After living briefly in Redding, California in 2007, Sara worked for one year in the Deschutes County Assessor’s Office before returning to The Garner Group.
