At the recommendation of friends, we worked with Sarah and Neal in 2022 and 2023 to purchase our first home in Columbia. The market was very competitive and our budget was limited but Sarah was responsive, patient, and encouraging throughout the search. She gave us suggestions for making our offers more competitive without increasing our budget, and while touring homes my husband appreciated her interest in energy efficiency. When our offer was accepted, we used Sarah and Neal’s recommended lender, title company, and home inspector and had a great experience with all three. With less than three weeks between offer acceptance and closing, the whole process went smoothly. We are very happy to be in our new home and would not hesitate to recommend Sarah and Neal to friends.

These are the greatest realtors in the world...truly...the world...all of it...like the whole world. When we first met Sarah and Neal, it was like we had known them our whole lives. They were down to earth and felt like family. They were patient with us and took us to see houses all over Maryland because we couldn't decide where we wanted to live. They understood what a big decision it was for us. They stuck with us through a super difficult buyer and went above and beyond the call of their duties as our realtors. They are definitely the ones we will refer our family and friends to when they are ready to buy or sell.

I decided to sell and buy, and I couldn't have picked a better team. I worked more closely with Sarah who put together a marketing strategy that yielded multiple offers. I then felt the switch to becoming a buyer and it didn't feel good. A crab in a barrel of other buyers, Sarah was encouraging and shared in my sense of urgency to help find a more functional home to raise my daughter in. The market is insane right now (April, 2021), and they were patient as we saw dozens of homes, and forward-thinking with making offers and setting us up for success. We were also happy with the various partners that they referred us to (lender, inspector, electrician). They were easy to communicate with and timely in their actions. My loan officer referred Sarah to me. I began my new home search with Sarah in April 2020 and she was committed to providing exceptional knowledge, thoroughness, patience and care. Each home we toured she checked the water heater, measured the bedrooms, studied the ceilings for water damage, highligted the features, and recommended possibilities for the property while being mindful of what I wanted in a home. She provided properties for my viewing wherever I asked, always encouraging me that I would find the right home. She was skillful in suggesting competitive offers on properties and when I submitted a contract her negotiating skills were impeccable.

Last week we officially sold our home of 30+ years. We were thrilled that our house sold quickly, but in reflecting back, we realize that it was the expertise and caring of our real estate agents, Sarah Anderson and Neal Sheehan, who, throughout the entire process made it more of an enjoyable adventure than the overly stressful event it could have been. Sarah and Neal showed their professional expertise from Day 1 as we made key decisions – from the analysis of the market, to preparing our home for sale, pricing, listing, and marketing (which was outstanding and included beautiful photos, some taken by a drone), to dealing with multiple offers, negotiations, inspections, moving, and closing. They also have an incredible network of professionals and non-profits who they can tap into – in our case it was tough to clear out all the items accumulated over 30+ years in the house due to the COVID-19 situation – but they found a way to do it, even doing some of the work themselves; since we now live 100 miles away their effort was a priceless service! While the goal was to sell the house, Sarah and Neal’s expertise, and their focus on building strong and trusting relationships is what we will most remember from this process – we highly recommend them if you want to work with smart, kind, and thoughtful individuals who will not hand you off to anyone else, but who take great pride in their profession and show that they care about their clients in every step of the process.
