About Sarah
As a young girl, Sarah would have dreams of building and designing homes. She began developing her skills as early as grade school. Sarah attended the Nelson Atkins School of Art on a scholarship program where she started taking architectural design and art classes. Her love for building homes and interior design grew. Sarah drew house plans, did the interior design for her own plans, created art and décor pieces, sewed pillows and even re-purposed a couch from fabric to leather at a young age. She has always had a passion for homes and designing. However, Sarah followed a career path in nursing because she loved taking care of people. Sarah wanted to learn how to be a nurse so she could take care of her family members when they got older. She received her first nursing job at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN on the Med-Surge unit. Sarah has always had a love for the older generation, so she extended her nursing to home health working with the geriatric population. When her grandfather passed, it was really hard for her and took a toll on her health so leaving the nursing field was best for her. Although Sarah liked being a nurse, she had this yearning desire to do something different and something that she absolutely loved.
Sarah was asked by a broker of a real estate firm if she would manage his office and she accepted the position. Her real estate and interior design career took off from there. In 2005, Sarah started managing 3 real estate offices and over 140 employees. She then decided to follow her dreams of selling, building and designing homes. Over the years, she has helped hundreds of people and families transition out of old homes into new homes, helped many first-time buyers, helped growing families get into bigger homes, and helped empty nesters downsize. Sarah has also helped people build and design their dream homes from the ground up in new construction. Her interior design packages are as big or little as a client’s desire. She can help as little as picking paint colors and selecting furniture to bigger packages such as designing one room to designing every room in the house. Sarah has helped hundreds of people buy, sell and design homes since 2005.
Sarah was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri so she has extensive knowledge in the areas of both Missouri and Kansas. She was raised a Royals and Chiefs fan. This is where she calls home and where she has decided to raise her family.
