About Scot
Scot Kellogg comes from a family of builders, and he himself was a builder from 1997 to 2002. During this time, he cultivated his passion for all things real estate. He became a licensed Realtor® in 2001 and a licensed broker in 2011.
Also in 2011, Scot started his own brokerage company, 616 Realty LLC, one of the fastest-growing real estate firms in West Michigan.
Selling more than $10 million annually, Scot is a real estate expert and professional who gets the job done by working closely with each client to help them find their dream home or sell their property for top dollar.
Scot is expanding his team of real estate professionals. He takes pride in creating a fun and casual work environment where agents can grow their own real estate practices among an innovative, energetic, and community-minded team.
Passionate about being locally owned and working with other locally owned companies, 616 Realty recently bought the former Flying Bridge Fish Market building on Plainfield Avenue in Grand Rapids’ North Monroe neighborhood. Scot and his team turned the iconic structure into a state-of-the-art real estate office. 616 Realty received first place for Best Interior Renovation in 2018 from the Neighborhood Business Alliance.
Scot grew up in Wyoming, Michigan, where he graduated from Wyoming Rogers High School. He attended Columbia College in Chicago, earning a bachelor’s degree in music business. After working for five years in Chicago, he moved back to Michigan to launch his home-building business and start his family. He has lived in several neighborhoods in the region – including Byron Center, the West Side, Eastown and now Grand Rapids Township – giving him extensive knowledge of the Greater Grand Rapids housing market. He is proud to see the city and West Michigan grow and prosper.
Scot takes great joy in raising his two boys with his wife, Dolly. He loves cheering on the Michigan State University Spartans, enjoying a good book and keeping an eye on his backyard bird feeders. He’s passionate about music and enjoys attending live shows and researching the up-and-coming bands.
