Selling property is something I do well because of my ability to communicate and bring people together in working towards a goal; buying and selling property. My friendly, honest, and logical personality lends itself well to being a real estate agent that people trust in achieving a common goal. I have been encouraged by how clients praised my ability to market, negotiate, and close a sale, while leading the way and maintaining high ethics; and I try to make it fun along the way!

What did I do before?
I finished college at the University of New South Wales in Sydney (Australia) while completing a BA in Telecommunications from Indiana University, and moved to San Diego in the mid 1990s to earn a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, with emphases in both Management and Entrepreneurship. I then did B2B sales, freelanced in TV production, worked as a business consultant for startup companies, and helped people get mortgages.
My passion for sustainable energy led me to be the first person to sell solar electric systems through the Home Depot. Then I helped market electric cars and other AFVs as the company launched the first Alternative Fuel Vehicle dealership and fueling station in the nation. While selling solar I discovered that many people didn’t know who their mortgage lender was, so I got my real estate sales license, got back in the business for a few years (as both a loan officer and wholesale bank rep) and then started selling properties as a real estate agent. It turned out that being a REALTOR® was fun and natural for me, so for years I have been helping people sell and buy properties in the San Diego area. In 2015 I became a licensed real estate broker in CA.

What about fun?
When I’m not working or looking for investment property, I enjoy spending free time with my wife and daughter, mountain unicycling, sharing stories with friends while sipping craft beer, and exploring the world.
