In 1995, Scott Bechtel formed The Scott Bechtel Group to offer clients an efficient customer service team. Locally born and raised, Scott’s knowledge about the Champaign County area coupled with his 41+ years in real estate have helped him become “Your #1 resource for Real Estate Services”. In October of 2006, Scott and six of his colleagues opened Keller Williams Realty, The Real Estate Center of Illinois, LLC, where he currently serves as the Operating Principal. He is also active on real estate education panels within Keller Williams, helping agents adopt effective practices and develop skills.

Scott is consistently one of the top agents in the Champaign County Board of Realtors and was awarded Top Operating Principal for Keller Williams Mid-American Region. Additionally, Scott has received many sales awards throughout his career. Representing both residential and investment clients for The Scott Bechtel Group, he brings a new level of professionalism to your real estate transaction. A lifelong resident of the area, Scott has maintained a high level of involvement in his community. He has served as a member of The Parkland College Foundation Board, Champaign County Historical Museum, and the St. Matthew School Steering Committee. He has also given back to his industry by being a member of the Champaign County Association of Realtors Board of Directors for many years. Some of Scott’s personal interests include Illini sports, boating, water skiing, snow skiing, travel, reading, entertaining, and spending time with family and friends.
